Due to recent photos that have found its way across the web as well as her sudden embarrassment over her recent semi-topless photo shoot (Billy Ray and mom Tish were in attendance as well as other Miley family members/supporters) for famed photographer Annie Leibovitz, teen queen Miley Cyrus has issued this statement to PEOPLE:
"My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy. For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie [Leibovitz]. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be 'artistic' and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed."
I don't know, but if she was going to feel this much remorse over the whole situation, maybe she shouldn't have done it in the first place, but that's just me...Becoming a star has its price.

Idol Goes Big And Gives Back
Although Wednesday's American Idol won't be saying goodbye to another contestant, (the results will be shown Thursday night) they will be airing their Idol Gives Back show for the second year in a row. The fundraiser will be raising money for both U.S. and international charities and will feature big stars like Brad Pitt, Hollywood it-couple David and Victoria Beckham, Miley Cyrus, and former Idol winners Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks. Raffaelo Follieri, aka Anne Hathaway's bf of four years, was arrested in New York today because he tried to pass a bad check. The check was for around $250,000.
Across the water, supermodel Naomi Campbell was arrested for (surprise, surprise) assault in London's Heathrow Airport. But this time it was toward a police officer! She had already boarded the plane and was then removed by officials.
