Barbra Streisand recently refused an offer to appear on Will and Grace. Producers were hoping to have the star make a guest appearance as Megan Mullally's character Karen's sister. "We made on last attempt to get Barbra Steisand to come on the show...but there was no love there for us," producers said. Meryl Streep was also approached for the role, but the part eventually went to Bernadette Peters. "Bernadette is amazing," Mullally said about the Broadway star. The final episode in the nine-year-running series is being filmed this week.
